This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to represent the company professionally while interacting with customers.Key Roles / Responsibilities:Safely operate CDL-class vehicles to deliver materials and supplies to designated locationsLoad, secure, transport, and unload cargo in accordance with DOT and company safety standardsOperate an off-road forklift to load and unload their own truckPerform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipmentMaintain accurate delivery logs, shipping documents, and electronic records as requiredCommunicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customersFollow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety proceduresReport vehicle maintenance issues, accidents, or delays promptlyAssist with warehouse or yard duties as needed when not on delivery routesRequired Education, Experience, and Qualifications:Valid Class A CDL (with appropriate endorsements, if required)Minimum of 2 years CDL driving experience requiredClean driving record in accordance with company and insurance standardsExperience operating off-road or rough-terrain forklifts preferred (training available if needed)Ability to safely lift, carry, and handle materials as requiredStrong attention to detail and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable attendance and punctualityWorking Conditions:Prolonged periods sitting in a trailer cab or pilot's cabin for long periods of time.Ability to maintain single task focus and situational awareness.Long term physical fitness for duty to maintain all licenses and certifications of fitness as required by regulatory agencies and licensing entities (DOT).Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.Determine the distance between objects.React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet.Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place.Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.#LI-ONSITE #LI-BN1 #CISCOSUPPLYThis job description should not be interpreted as an exhaustive list of responsibilities or as an employment agreement between the employer and the employee.
