Process Engineer

Lead Process Engineers(Hydroprocessing, Aromatics, Polymers)Houston, TXWe are currently seeking a few highly skilled Process Engineer with extensive experience in hydroprocessing and derivative units, particularly Aromatics and Polymers. This role is ideal for a candidate who has demonstrated project leadership in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects, particularly in the refining sector.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage a team of process engineers to convert process licensors' basic engineering packages to FEED (Front End Engineering Design) quality.Execute licensor packages for refinery applications including naphtha, distillate, and residue hydrotreating technologies.Oversee the execution of licensor packages for downstream derivatives units such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and aromatics.Coordinate project activities with high value engineering centers.Lead process engineering tasks including process simulation, development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), hydraulic calculations, process vessel sizing, and overpressure analysis including relief calculations and flare load estimation.Ensure the production of high-quality process design basis documents and various narratives.Manage workgroup schedules, budgets, and reporting on project progress.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of related experience in process engineering, with a preference for candidates having 10-30 years of experience.Proven track record of leading projects in an EPC environment, specifically with FEED and EPC execution for refining processes.Proficient in process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS.Demonstrated ability to develop PFDs and P&IDs.Strong capability in fluid hydraulic calculations and in-line instrumentation.Excellent leadership skills and experience in managing engineering teams.Desirable:Experience working with process licensors and advancing engineering packages from basic to FEED quality.Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.Application Process:Interested candidates are invited to submit a resume and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and experience.
