This role focuses on developing proactive maintenance strategies, conducting root cause analysis (RCA), and driving reliability-focused initiatives that improve equipment performance and reduce downtime. This position oversees maintenance planning, asset lifecycle management, and continuous improvement initiatives while supporting and developing maintenance team members. This position plays a critical role in optimizing production reliability, extending asset lifespan, and implementing predictive and preventive maintenance strategies within a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesFailure Analysis & PreventionLead root cause failure analysis to identify and address chronic equipment failures.Investigate equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.Analyze maintenance data and equipment performance trends to proactively identify reliability risks.Proactive MaintenanceDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and minimize production disruptions.Schedule and oversee maintenance activities including routine inspections, repairs, and installations.Ensure maintenance programs align with operational production schedules.Asset ManagementManage the full lifecycle of equipment and assets from installation through retirement.Ensure equipment and maintenance practices comply with safety and regulatory standards.Maintain accurate records of spare parts inventory and ensure availability of necessary supplies.Coordinate with procurement and external vendors to source parts, materials, and specialized services.Team LeadershipLead and mentor maintenance technicians and reliability-focused personnel.Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to strengthen team capabilities.Ensure team adherence to safety procedures, maintenance standards, and operational best practices.Troubleshooting & Technical SupportIdentify and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with production equipment.Develop effective solutions to resolve equipment issues quickly while minimizing downtime.Provide technical support to maintenance and production teams during complex troubleshooting events.Continuous ImprovementDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and maintain efficiency.Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs while improving system performance.Implement best practices, new technologies, and reliability-centered maintenance techniques.All other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) preferred.3-5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability engineering, or industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.Strong experience working with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.Knowledge of preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance practices.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities across mechanical and electrical systems.Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a technical team.Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in manufacturing environments.Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environment.Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies when necessary.
