Senior Data Analyst, User Acquisition & Growth Analytics
We're looking for a strategic, curious, and highly analytical Senior Data Analyst to join our Growth team supporting MobilityWare' s portfolio of mobile games. In this role, User Acquisition will be your primary business focus, partnering closely with teams across UA, Creative, Product, and Finance to help drive smart, data-informed growth decisions. This role is specifically focused on User Acquisition and Growth Analytics within mobile gaming. We are primarily seeking candidates with established hands-on experience supporting UA, performance marketing, or growth teams, ideally within mobile games or consumer mobile apps. This is much more than a reporting role. We're looking for someone who enjoys digging into complex data, identifying meaningful trends and opportunities, and translating insights into clear recommendations that influence strategy. The ideal candidate is both analytical and collaborative, someone who can think critically about performance while also communicating ideas clearly and working closely with cross-functional partners. You'll play an important role in helping shape acquisition strategy across channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta, and other ad networks. From campaign performance and creative testing to monetization trends and growth forecasting, your insights will help guide decisions across multiple game titles. ResponsibilitiesPartner closely with the User Acquisition team across 2-4 mobile game titles to help drive growth through thoughtful, data-informed decision makingAnalyze UA performance data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and key drivers impacting growth and efficiencyDeliver clear, actionable insights around campaign optimization, audience targeting, bidding strategies, creative performance, and budget allocationEvaluate key performance metrics including ROAS, CPI, retention, LTV, payback windows, and install growthDesign and analyze A/B tests across creative concepts, acquisition channels, targeting strategies, and app store optimization effortsCollaborate with Creative teams to better understand ad performance, funnel conversion, and opportunities for iteration and experimentationWork cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Data teams to align acquisition performance with broader business goalsBuild and improve dashboards, reporting frameworks, and analytical tools that help teams make faster and more informed decisionsConduct competitive and market analysis to help identify emerging trends and growth opportunitiesPresent findings and recommendations in a clear, organized, and approachable way to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersBring structure, curiosity, and strong analytical thinking to open-ended or ambiguous business questions Qualifications5+ years of experience directly supporting User Acquisition, Growth, or Performance Marketing teams through analytics and data-driven decision makingStrong understanding of mobile user acquisition, performance marketing, and growth metrics such as CPI, ROAS, retention, and LTVProven experience analyzing and optimizing paid acquisition performance across channels such as Google Ads, Apple Search Ads, Meta, or similar ad networksExperience supporting products with hybrid IAP + IAA monetization models is strongly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, with SQL experience strongly preferredExperience with tools such as Tableau, Looker, Python, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Amplitude, or similar platforms is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to explain not just the answer, but the thinking behind itExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor insights to different audiencesHighly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPassion for mobile games, experimentation, player behavior, and continuous learningCollaborative mindset with a proactive, positive approach to problem-solving Candidates without direct UA or growth analytics experience are unlikely to be a fit for this role. The range listed is just one component of MobilityWare' s total compensation package for employees, which may include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. The annual base salary pay range for this role is $134,000-$163,000.
