Data Analyst

POSITION PURPOSE The data analyst is a business-oriented role to support the decision-making needs of our internal management team. The primary responsibilities are to understand business requirements and develop (or guide the development of) data assets in Microsoft Fabric as well as build Power BI reports and dashboards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions. Build data movement and transformations within Microsoft Fabric to populate data structures Build semantic data models including DAX calculations within Fabric/Power BI Design and build Power BI reports Create requirement and process documentation Perform quality testing Perform ad hoc data analysis to support management decision making with additional tools such as Python and Excel.
