Nuclear Medicine Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety and accurate imaging results. Based south of Reno, Nevada, in a dynamic healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT and SPECT Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocols Monitor patients during procedures and provide thorough post-procedure instructions Maintain and calibrate nuclear medicine equipment Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate records Adhere to safety standards for radiation exposure and biohazard control Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnostics Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field Certification by NMTCB or ARRT (N) – Required Valid state license in Nuclear Medicine (Nevada) – Required or ability to obtain BLS Certification – Required Preferred Skills: BLS Certification (AHA preferred) 1+ year of clinical experience
