AAQ - Guest Experience Team MemberJoin Our Dynamic Guest Experience Team! Adventure Aquarium is seeking enthusiastic and outgoing individuals to join our Guest Experience team. In this role, you'll help create memorable experiences for our guests by leading scheduled programs, participating in seasonal themed events, and facilitating interactive touch exhibits.What you'll doDeliver fun and educational content during scripted programs.Adhere to given dialogue and communicationFacilitate Touch Exhibit experiencesParticipate in aquarium educational messaging and guest engagement programs, including animal encounters, guided tours, and after-hours events.Confidently handle animals in compliance with AZA standards and state safety regulations.Set up and breakdown equipment and activities; ensure touch exhibits operate smoothly, including monitoring animal and guest safety throughout the dayBe able to handle cash and adhere to proper PCI standardsSupport Adventure Aquarium's overall guest experience through excellent guest service and provide operational support as neededAssist the Guest Experience department with other duties as neededWhat you'll bringFriendly, outgoing, and proactive individualAbility to work weekends and holidays with occasional eveningsSuccessful completion of pre-employment background checkAllergies related to animals or plants, which might interfere with ability to work, must be controlled by medications or protective equipment.Ability to remain on feet for long periods of time, sit for long periods of time, climb stairs, bend and stoop, walk long distancesAbility to work in all weather conditionsAbility to lift up to 30 poundsWho You AreYou are someone who strives for excellence in all you do.
