As a Shift Supervisor at Norris Academy, you will be primarily responsible for the daily management and supervisory control of Group Living operations, under the supervision of the Director of Group Living. This is a 100% onsite position. Duties include but are not limited to:Ensure safety of residents & staff at all timesProvide OJT for new incoming staffSupport and train all staff on de-escalation techniquesImplement and lead large group activities for the residentsEnforce facility rules, policies, and routines, while supervising the milieu staffOrganize transportation of residents to and from appointments and outingsTo Be Considered You ShouldHave a High School diploma or equivalent, BA preferredBe able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physicalHave at least 2-year experience working with autistic youthHave a passion to work with and help childrenBe at least 21 years of ageSchedule/hours/shifts: Our 4 days on, 3 days off (opposite the 2nd week) schedule, allows our employees more time to rest, take care of personal affairs, and reduces burnout.
