Lead Security Technician

San Francisco, CA | Full-Time$30–$50/hour (depending on experience)VueTech is hiring a Lead Security Technician to support the installation and maintenance of commercial security systems and network infrastructure across the Bay Area.We specialize in surveillance systems, access control, structured cabling, and IT environments for businesses. With increasing demand and ongoing projects, we are expanding our field team to deliver high-quality installations and service.This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who wants to work on real projects, grow technical skills, and take ownership in the field.ResponsibilitiesInstall and configure security camera systems (IP cameras, NVRs, cloud systems)Install and maintain access control systems and alarm systemsRun and terminate structured cablingTest systems to ensure full functionality before handoffSupport project completion timelines and quality standardsMust Have2+ years of experience in low voltage, security systems, or cablingExperience with IP cameras, NVR systems, or access controlStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently on job sitesValid driver’s license and reliable transportationNice to haveExperience with Ubiquiti, Hikvision, Dahua, or similar systemsExperience with access control platforms (Brivo, Kisi, etc.)Fiber optic cabling experienceCertifications in low voltage or networkingWhat's great in the job?
