Lead Reality Capture Technician

Role Description We are seeking a full-time Lead Reality Capture Technician to join our team in the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. In this on-site role, you will oversee the planning and execution of 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and other reality capture methodologies. Responsibilities include operating capture equipment, managing data processing workflows, ensuring accuracy and quality of collected data, and collaborating with team members to meet project goals. You will also be instrumental in training and mentoring team members and researching new tools and techniques to enhance our reality capture capabilities. Qualifications Proficiency in 3D scanning, photogrammetry, and reality capture technologiesExperience with data processing software (e.g., PolyWorks, Geomagic, or similar)Project management skills, including task coordination, scheduling, and adherence to timelinesStrong technical skills, including interpretation of technical drawings, CAD models, and measurement dataExcellent attention to detail and ability to ensure data accuracy and quality controlStrong leadership and coaching abilities to oversee and guide team membersWillingness to stay updated on advancements in reality capture technologiesBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Geography, CAD Design, or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience in industry sectors such as engineering, aerospace, or consumer goods is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills for documentation and team collaboration
