Through our value-driven, consumer-centric approach, we are committed to transforming healthcare and creating a better care experience for all.Clinic Location: 3138 N Federal Hwy, Lighthouse Point, FL 33064Job SummaryThe Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood on patients at the clinic and ensuring samples are sent to outside medical labs for processing.Duties & ResponsibilitiesPreparing patients before drawing bloodExplaining blood draw procedures to patients and answering any questions about the processFollowing all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain sanitary work areas.Gathering medical testing materials, including needles, sample vials, blood storage bags and test tubesVerifying patient information and labeling blood samples properlyAccurately updating patient information in the organization's databaseHelping nervous or frightened patients remain calm during blood draws.Working with supervising physicians and always following their directions.Submit electronic requests to labs.
