Senior Software Engineer – Backend Heavy Full Stack | Fully Remote ESTRole Details:Fully remote - EST time zone preferredUS Citizens & Green Card holders onlyNo visa sponsorship or visa transfer availableI’m working with a leading insurance technology company that is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and work on a complex pre-bind insurance platform.This is a backend-heavy full-stack role focused on owning third-party integrations and schema mapping end to end. Backend engineering is the core of the role, with enough frontend experience to deliver a complete working solution.What you’ll be doing:Own third-party integrations from initial technical discussions through production supportDesign and manage schema mapping between external systems and internal data modelsBuild backend services supporting the pre-bind insurance workflowPartner closely with architects on integration and data designWork through complex integration challenges, including inconsistent or undocumented third-party behaviourWhat we’re looking for:Strong backend engineering experienceFull-stack capabilities, with backend as your core strengthProven experience owning third-party integrationsStrong data modelling and schema mapping experienceSolid insurance industry experience — this is a requirementExperience working with complex insurance data modelsNice to have:Experience with agentic AI or LLM-based systems in productionMGA or program business experienceIf you're a backend-focused engineer with strong insurance experience and enjoy owning complex integrations end to end, DM me for more details.
