Software Engineer II

A leading technology company focused on delivering high-quality software solutions for critical government initiatives, specifically in healthcare fraud detection and prevention, is seeking a skilled professional.The Role Design, develop, test, and deploy complex software applications in an Agile environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Utilize Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures. Define API contracts using OpenAPI/Swagger and ensure consistent API design standards. Develop service-to-service communication patterns using REST and messaging frameworks like ActiveMQ, Amazon MQ, and SQS.What You'll Need 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot. Proficiency in RESTful API development, microservices architecture, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins). Knowledge of SQL, Python, Bash scripting, Linux, and AWS cloud services (S3, EC2, RDS, EKS, CloudWatch). Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle).
