OverviewPositions are located at a client site in Orange, TX and the job is scheduled for a 2-month duration working 6 days a week and 12-hour shifts.Turnkey I&E has been in the industry for over 15 years and provides a safe and family environment. We provide electrical, instrumentation, and analytical construction and resources to industry leading manufacturers throughout the United States. We are looking for Non-Licensed and State of Texas License Journeyman Electricians for our upcoming New Construction and Turnaround Projects.As an Electrician you will be required to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, power panel, transformers, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Installation and repairs of aluminum and galvanized conduit, cable tray, grounding, and equipment.Work EnvironmentThis job operates in a petrochemical / refinery environment. Exposure to cold working conditions during winter months and hot working conditions during the summer months; exposure to noise, workers must wear protecting hearing equipment or frequently shout in order to be heard above ambient noise level. In an emergency situation, exposure to hazardous chemicals may occur and the use of a respirator is required. Must be able to work at heights and be able to climb ladders and stairways and work off platforms.
