Commercial Construction Superintendent for U.S. Military Base Projects

Commercial Construction Superintendent for U.S. Military Base Projects: Burman Companies is looking for a Superintendent with 5 YEARS minimum EXPERIENCE in Commercial General Construction. Must have a driver’s license and qualify to enter Military Bases. Looking for a self-motivated individual, especially one with M/E/P knowledge and OSHA 10. You may be a good fit if the following describes you: Can you: Clearly communicate and coordinate schedules between owners, subcontractors, project managers, inspectors, etc.? Direct and maintain a clean, organized and safe project site and staging areas? Communicate with City Building Departments at permit issuance to fully understand all the building and inspection requirements needed for a C of O? Review plans to discover necessary RFIs to anticipate and accommodate installation, coordination and/or transitions of materials? Answer subcontractor questions using the plans and specs? Mentally envision the project and create 3-week “look-aheads” to effectively coordinate subs? Lead regular safety “toolbox talks” in tandem with those 3-week “look-aheads”? Offload, inspect and accurately document delivered materials, including counting items and uploading packing slips to ProCore? Prevent re-work by carefully reviewing plans and coordinating all trades to install in harmony? Assure quality control over all trades throughout the course of construction? Maintain accurate daily project logs, including photos?
