Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team remotely. The role will own forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis for our multi-entity SaaS business, driving accuracy in ARR reporting and operational metrics. The Senior FP&A Analyst will partner with Finance, Revenue, and GTM teams to provide actionable insight for decision-making and support Private Equity reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts and long-range financial models for multi-entity SaaS operations.
Build and maintain ARR and subscription revenue models, track key SaaS metrics (MRR/ARR, churn, LTV, CAC payback) and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecast, and budget and present clear explanations and recommended actions to finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
Create, automate, and improve financial reporting packages and dashboards (board reports, investor reporting, management packs) to support Private Equity stakeholders and executive leadership.
Lead multi-entity consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and ensure consistent accounting and reporting across entities.
Design and implement scalable FP&A processes and controls to improve forecasting accuracy and reduce manual effort (including automation using Vera or similar FP&A platforms).
Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Sales, and Product teams to align on assumptions and drivers used in forecasting and scenario planning.
Mentor and guide junior analysts, review deliverables, and contribute to continuous improvement of the FP&A function.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
3+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with demonstrated ownership of forecasting and financial modeling in a SaaS environment.
Proven experience managing ARR and subscription-based revenue models and tracking SaaS KPIs (MRR/ARR, churn, cohorts).
Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling best practices.
Hands-on experience with FP&A and planning tools (experience with Vera is highly desirable).
Experience supporting Private Equity reporting and governance, including board and investor packs.
Experience with multi-entity financial consolidation and intercompany accounting.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights for senior stakeholders.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
