Junior .Net Software Developer
Peraton is searching for a talented Junior .Net Software Developer to become part of Peraton’s Citizens Security & Public Services, State and Local Regional team supporting a contract with the State of West Virginia. This position will be located on a client site Charleston, WV.
Day to Day Work Responsiblities:
The Jr. .Net Software Developer will be responsible for the following, but not limited to:
The Developer will need to write complex queries in MS SQL, support web-based application systems, be able to solve problems and have the ability to use MS Office Tools.
Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and client requirements for software with scrum and agile methodology.
Develop intuitive software that meets and exceeds the needs of the client and company.
Professionally maintain all software and create updates regularly to address customer concerns.
Analyze and test programs and products before formal launch.
Troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace.
Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science Degree and 0-2 years experience or high school diploma/equivalent and 4 years experience
Experience in software engineering to include using .Net, C++, PowerShell, MS SQL Server
Experience troubleshooting complex systems.
Working with web services, APIs,
Working with distributed, large scale, highly available systems
Possess the professional and technical skills necessary to perform .Net software development as part of an application development team.
