Setup Technician

Set-up Technician - Day Shift (12-hour rotating shift role)Shift: B Shift, 6:45am- 7:00pm (Thurs, Fri, Sat + every other Wed)Position SummaryResponsible for setting up, changing over, troubleshooting and documenting process problems associated with plastic injection molding.POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESStes and/or pulls out molds from pressesWorks in a safe manner and monitors safety of equipment and work areaTroubleshoots machines and process issuesCommunicates issues to Lead Process Technician, Production Supervisor or Process Engineer, Toolroom, etc.Communicates effectively within shift and with other shiftss.Changes nozzles, nozzle tips, nozzle heater bands, etc. as needed.Maintains housekeeping and 5S StandardsCleans and sets up auxiliary equipmentResponsible for daily PM'sQualificationsEducation:High school diploma or GED preferredRequirements:Must have a minimum of three years of related experience in injection molding.Must have mechanical skills/aptitude (as determined by testing).Must be able to lift 50 pounds, reach above shoulders for periods of times.Must be able to stand, walk, life, squat, bend, push, pull, grasp, twist, lift, and climb steps.In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this position is: starting at $19.00/hour plus any applicable shift differential.
