Electrical Technician (2211)
The ALPOLIC Division of Mitsubishi Chemical America is seeking a dedicated Electrical Technician to join our maintenance team. This role offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule with a consistent routine: three weeks each month on a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift, with every third week on a 10:00 AM–6:30 PM shift. After training, you’ll also participate in our on‑call rotation for one week every third week, giving you additional earning potential. The position is hourly, with a competitive pay range of $28–$34 per hour based on experience, and includes both overtime and on‑call compensation.Beyond the strong pay structure, you’ll be joining a 24/7 manufacturing environment where your technical skills truly matter. You’ll work with modern equipment, collaborate with a skilled maintenance and engineering team, and play a key role in keeping our operations running safely and efficiently. As part of our commitment to recognizing team contributions, this position is also eligible for our annual profit‑sharing bonus, giving you a direct stake in the company’s success.The Electrical Technician is responsible for all electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs for the facility. The position is also responsible for assisting in small or large project work as requested.Perform required preventative maintenance activities listed in the Asset Essentials program to maintain corporate assets and prevent unexpected breakdowns properlyPerform required electrical/controls troubleshooting and repairs to equipment upon unexpected breakdown quickly and effectivelyTo install parts and/or modify equipment/controls per instruction of maintenance supervisor or as requested in the Asset Essentials programTo review, complete, and update entries in the Asset Essentials programAssist electrical engineer(s) in capital project work as requestedOrder and maintain supplies and spare parts for electrical components and equipmentKeep the maintenance area and electrical cabinets clean and organizedMust be able to maintain Forklift license as issued by MitsubishiProvide assistance to Mechanical Technicians and other team membersPerform other jobs in Asset Essentials that helps the team but may not be electrical in nature. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
