Duties Safely operate a commercial vehicle with a Class B license, including manual transmission trucks, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other specialized equipment. Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or roll-off trucks, ensuring cargo integrity and safety. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Follow designated routes for delivery and pick-up, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations. Manage documentation related to freight delivery, including delivery receipts, logs, and route reports. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Maintain a clean driving record and uphold all safety protocols during every trip. Qualifications Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record; with manual transmission endorsement. Proven truck driving experience, especially in freight delivery or route driving roles. Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, or roll-off trucks is highly desirable. Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or other equipment when necessary. Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation operations. Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Physical ability to handle loading tasks and long hours on the road.
