CNC Machine Operator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling and/or turning machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. Attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality are essential.
Shift for this position:
2ND SHIFT 3PM- 11:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes according to job specifications and work instructions.
Load raw materials and verify part dimensions using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T symbols.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
Perform routine machine maintenance and cleaning.
Document production data and maintain accurate records.
Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training preferred.
2+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes).
Proficiency with Fanuc, Haas, or similar controls.
Strong knowledge of machining practices, materials, and inspection techniques.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Team-oriented, reliable, and punctual.
Preferred Skills (a plus):
Experience with multi-axis machining.
Familiarity with setup, offsets, and tool changes.
Basic knowledge of G-code editing.
Experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing environments.
Schedule & Compensation:
Full-time, Monday–Friday (occasional overtime may be required).
Competitive pay based on experience.
Company Schedule:
1ST SHIFT 7:00AM- 3:30 PM MONDAY -FRIDAY
2ND SHIFT 3PM- 11:30 PM MONDAY - FRIDAY
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
