Landscape Strategic Partnerships Manager
We are seeking a driven and relationship-focused Strategic Partnerships Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial landscape accounts while generating new business opportunities. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to existing clients, ensure service quality and client satisfaction, and develop strategic sales plans to win new commercial maintenance contracts. This position is ideal for a professional who thrives in both account management and business development and is motivated by growth, service excellence, and long-term client partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesAccount Management (30%)Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong partnerships with existing commercial clients through regular communication, property visits, and proactive service reviews.Quality Assurance: Conduct site walkthroughs and service audits to ensure field teams consistently meet company standards and client expectations.Account Growth: Identify opportunities for enhancements and additional services, including seasonal color, mulch, irrigation improvements, and drainage solutions.Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to client concerns, coordinate solutions, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.Business Development (70%)Lead Generation: Prospect, network, and develop relationships with property managers, facility leaders, HOAs, and other decision-makers to build a strong pipeline of opportunities.Proposal Development: Prepare and present professional proposals using company estimating tools and clearly communicate service solutions tailored to each client’s needs.Sales Execution: Manage the sales process from initial outreach through contract award, including follow-up, negotiation, and closing activities.Market Expansion: Achieve monthly and quarterly growth goals by securing new commercial maintenance contracts and expanding market presence.Qualifications And SkillsExperience: 3–5 years of experience in commercial account management, business development, or sales, with a strong emphasis on client relationship building.Industry Knowledge: Experience in commercial landscaping, grounds maintenance, horticulture, irrigation, or a related service-based industry is strongly preferred.Technical Skills: Proficiency with CRM platforms, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office; experience with landscape software such as Aspire or similar platforms is a plus.Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and written communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and trust with clients.License: Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required.Compensation And BenefitsBase Salary: Competitive base salary, based on experience and qualifications.Incentive Opportunity: Strong commission potential tied to new business development and account growth.Vehicle: Company vehicle or monthly vehicle allowance provided, based on role requirements.Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package includes life, health, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
