Armed Security Guard

We are looking for an OPOTA certified security guard to work every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 3pm-10pm. You must be able to pass a background check to obtain our security guard card. You must have reliable transportation. You will maintain a high visibility presence with the goal to detect, deter, observe and report. Responsibilities Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences Report in detail any suspicious incidents Patrol randomly or regularly building and perimeter Skills Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols Surveillance skills and detail orientation Integrity and professionalism Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Evening shift Weekends only Experience: Customer service: 2 years (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: Elyria, OH: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: Multiple locations
