For decades, the center has sustained competitive federal, state, and foundation funding to design, evaluate, and scale evidence-based practices that include social-emotional and behavioral health with literacy development areas widely shown to be interconnected in promoting student success .Through partnerships with schools and communities, the center advances inclusive approaches that support all learners, including students with disabilities, while contributing to the research base, professional development, and policy guidance needed to improve educational systems at scale.The role of the Administrative Manager is to organize and coordinate office administrative procedures for The New York State Pyramid Model Implementation and Scale-up project. The Administrative Manager will ensure organizational effectiveness, and efficiency while supporting the execution of activities as defined by the projects' annual workplan and deliverables.This work is supported by the Preschool Development Birth through Five Initiative (PDG B-5) Grant Number 90TP0130-02-00, from the Administration for Children and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in contract with the New York State Council on Children and Families.Essential Functionsprepare personnel paperwork and procure supplies, equipment and technology;establish, maintain and monitor procedures for record keeping and files;attend internal and external project meetings to record and store minutes; ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of personnel data;process travel reconciliations and assist staff with travel-related forms and documentation.Support staff is the creating and uploading of training and coaching documentation to online registry. Assist participants in the registration process, verify attendance, and completion of credential process.Coordinate with Statewide Coordinators to gather and synthesize data summaries from Regional Coordinators.Coordinate logistical needs for quarterly State Leadership Team meetings and annual in-person Pyramid Model Summit, including registration, site arrangements, materials preparation, and speaker communication.Assist in managing project social media accounts, posting announcements, events, and key updates.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:5 years proven office management, administrative or assistant experienceKnowledge of data and administrative management practices and proceduresKnowledge of human resources management practices and proceduresKnowledge of business and management principlesKnowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and proceduresKnowledge of social media and website managementExcellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsAbility to work with a culturally diverse populationExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational and planning skillsStrong computer skills and proficiency in MS OfficeAbility to travel between campusesPreferred QualificationsAdministrative experience in educational/public sector setting preferred Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the US Department of Education or other internationally recognized accrediting organization.Statewide-level work experience within New York State, preferred.Verified trainer listed in ASPIREExperience with the PIDSAdditional InformationSalary Range: $60,000-$65,000 (DOE)Federal law and regulations require notice to all prospective employees regarding crimes that have occurred on campus in the current three-year period.
