Senior Java Full-Stack Technical Lead

Responsibilities:
Lead the hands-on modernization of an enterprise Java full-stack application.
Own technical direction, architecture and code quality, stack upgrades, integration of readiness, security remediation, and production delivery while mentoring engineers and coordinating with business and technology partners.
Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, design reviews, and engineering standards within an Agile team.
Deliver and modernize Angular and Java/Spring Boot components, REST APIs, business services, and integrations.
Lead application-stack upgrades and validate DB2, MQ, FTP/email, identity, secrets, and container-platform connectivity.
Drive secure coding, vulnerability remediation, automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and production readiness.
Resolve complex technical issues, manage delivery risks, coordinate releases, and mentor engineers.
Partner with product, business, security, infrastructure, database, mainframe, and platform teams to deliver priority outcomes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Experience with SQL/relational databases, cloud platforms, OpenShift/Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated testing, and TDD.Knowledge of OAuth 2.0/OIDC, Spring Security, secrets management, messaging, and secure engineering practices.
Proven technical leadership, independent delivery ownership, mentoring ability, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Healthcare, enrollment, eligibility, or regulated-enterprise experience.
- Experience modernizing legacy Java applications and working with DB2, MQ, application monitoring, SRE/DevOps, or generative AI tools.
- Experience operating under SOX, HIPAA, or similar security and audit controls.
