Front Desk Clerk
Waltonen is seeking to add a highly organized Front Desk Clerk to support daily office operations while assisting with basic accounting and financial administration. This role combines administrative coordination with financial support responsibilities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoice processing, and reconciliation.Key Responsibilities:Provide general administrative and executive support to leadership and internal teamsManage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointmentsMaintain organized filing systems for documents, records, and company filesManage document preparation, formatting, and distributionPerform accurate data entry and maintain internal records and databasesSupport office management activities and ensure smooth daily operationsServe as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries and provide customer service supportUtilize Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and communicationProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, review, verify, and process invoices in a timely mannerAssist with billing activities and payment processingTrack and reconcile expenses, invoices, and paymentsMaintain accurate records of financial transactions and supporting documentationSupport credit and collections activities when necessaryAssist with bookkeeping functions and general ledger supportQualificationsPrevious experience in reception or front office work or accounting supportExperience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or bookkeeping tasks preferredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial dataAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsHigh level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentialityPreferred QualificationsExperience using accounting software or ERP systems (QuickBooks, E2, Deltek, etc.)Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processesExperience supporting both administrative and financial functions within an office environmentAll employees are required to work within the confines and responsibilities of the quality system.BenefitsMedical, Dental & Vision InsuranceVacation and Holiday payEmployer matching 401KOvertime Pay: Time and a half after 40 hoursHybrid work schedule after 90 days for eligible positionsTuition ReimbursementFlexible Spending Programs (FSAs)Short-Term & Long-Term Disability InsuranceEmployee Referral ProgramAdditional Voluntary Benefit ProgramsOff-site company events & Employee LuncheonsWho are we?Founded in 1957 and proudly 100% U.S.-owned, Waltonen has deep roots in Warren, Michigan, and a strong commitment to supporting our local community.
