Controller
We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. We are partnering with a leading mortgage services and title solutions organization to hire a Controller who will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance across a multi-entity environment. This individual will play a critical leadership role supporting executive decision-making, operational scalability, and financial integrity. Key ResponsibilitiesLead all accounting functions including general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and financial reporting.Oversee month-end and year-end close processes with strict deadlines.Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.Ensure compliance with mortgage, title, and real estate financial regulations.Partner with executive leadership on strategic financial planning and growth initiatives.Oversee audit processes, including internal and external audits.Manage and develop accounting team members, driving performance and efficiency.Implement and optimize accounting systems, controls, and automation tools.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.7+ years of progressive accounting experience.3+ years in a leadership role (Controller or Assistant Controller level).Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.Experience in mortgage servicing, title/escrow, or real estate financial operations.Advanced Excel and accounting systems expertise.
