Our main office is in Baton Rouge, La.Company BenefitsCompetitive WageMedical InsuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceShort Term DisabilityLong Term Disability401K with Company MatchPaid time offTruck AllowanceFuel CardBonusesWe are currently searching for an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to join our team of hardworking and dedicated employees.Experience/Requirements:5 yrs. of experience as an Asphalt Paving ForemanMust be able to operate a paver, roller, skid steer, shuttle buggy, rubber-tire backhoe, etc.Must have a minimum of 5 yr. experience in the road or construction field, working outdoors in extreme weatherDependable transportation is required.High school diploma or GED.Job Duties: Ensure the safety of other employees and the public; comply with all safety initiatives, protocols, and proceduresMeasure all projects and track yield each day.Order asphalt from the plant.Pave a high-quality product each day.Manage a crew of operators and skilled craftsmen.Make sure daily productions are met.Operate equipment proficiently and safely.Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all equipmentPerforming other duties on the jobsite when not operating equipmentQuality, Line, and Grade recognitionWe have a lot of work in the Baton Rouge metro area and surrounding parishes. We sometimes work nights.
