Forklift Operator

If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about maintaining high safety and operational excellence, this is the perfect opportunity for you to showcase your skills and grow with us! *Responsibilities* * Safely operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, cherry pickers, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load and unload shipments. * Manage inventory by accurately picking orders using barcode scanning technology and warehouse management systems. * Load and unload goods efficiently while adhering to heavy lifting and manual handling safety protocols. * Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic repairs or notify maintenance for mechanical issues to ensure optimal operation. * Maintain precise shipping and receiving records, update inventory logs, and support warehouse distribution activities. * Follow OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment. * Assist with warehouse organization by stacking pallets, managing materials handling tasks, and supporting overall warehouse operations. *Skills* * Proven experience operating forklifts such as lift trucks, reach trucks, cherry pickers, Hi-Lo forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment. * Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures. * Knowledge of warehouse safety standards in production environments including OSHA regulations. * Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining efficiency. * Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting issues with material handling equipment. * Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and materials handling best practices. * Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and data entry related to warehouse operations.
