Responsibilities
Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of water systems, drainage, and plumbing fixtures on construction sites and residential properties
Operate hand tools, power tools, and plumbing-specific equipment such as pipe threading machines and inspection cameras safely and effectively
Support senior plumbers in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints for plumbing layouts and systems
Conduct drain cleaning using specialized tools and techniques to ensure proper flow and prevent blockages
Participate in remodeling projects by assembling plumbing components and performing minor carpentry tasks as needed
Help with the inspection of plumbing systems to identify issues using inspection cameras and mechanical knowledge
Follow local building codes, safety standards, and company procedures during all tasks to ensure compliance and safety at all times
Qualifications
Construction site experience or hands-on work in related trades such as carpentry or handyman services is preferred but not required
Basic understanding of plumbing systems, water supply operations, and HVAC fundamentals is a plus
Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
Strong mechanical aptitude with good basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company vehicle or commercial vehicle where necessary
Willingness to learn about local building codes, plumbing inspection procedures, and remodeling practices
Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients on residential or commercial projects
