We're offering a competitive hourly rate of $25 - 28 per hour based on experience, along with training/career growth potential and comprehensive benefits.Work Schedule: Monday 9:00am-5:30pm & Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pmWe're looking for compassionate, motivated team members who are committed to delivering excellent patient care and client service. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in veterinary assisting who is ready to continue advancing their career.Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of Veterinary Assistant experience requiredProficient in IV catheter placement and venipunctureStrong experience with surgical assisting and anesthesia monitoringSkilled in lab work and sample processingStrong knowledge of radiology (X-rays) and proper positioningConfident in animal handling and restraint techniquesAbility to support client education and communicationPrimary Responsibilities:Maintain hospital standards to ensure patient safety and cleanliness of treatment and exam areasPerform and assist with catheter placement and blood drawsAssist with radiographs, ensuring proper positioningPrepare for and assist with minor proceduresSafely restrain patients for exams and proceduresAssist with surgery preparation and monitoringMaintain laundry and surgical instrumentsSupport Client Service Representatives as neededAssist Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinarians with daily tasksAbout Us:Since 1959, Central Veterinary Hospital has provided high-quality medicine and surgery with a compassionate approach.
