We pride ourselves on offering a full range of tractor-trailers, heavy and light-duty truck equipment, yard trucks, extensive parts inventory, and service capabilities to meet our customers’ diverse needs.Position SummaryThe Commercial Sales Representative is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across all STS product and service lines, including truck sales, trailer sales, leasing, and rental. This is an outbound-focused, entry-level, and bonus eligible role suited to candidates who are self-motivated, comfortable engaging new contacts directly, and looking to build a career in commercial equipment sales. The right candidate brings strong communication skills, a competitive work ethic, and the drive to build something from the ground up.Recent graduates are encouraged to apply!ResponsibilitiesProspect for new business through outbound calls and direct outreach across all STS product and service linesBuild and manage a customer pipeline; document all interactions, opportunities, and follow-up activity in CRMConduct targeted outbound sales campaigns across defined customer segments and geographic territoriesPerform ongoing market research to identify prospective customers, track competitor activity, and monitor pricing and inventory trendsDevelop an understanding of customer needs and match them to the appropriate STS products, services, and solutionsMaintain awareness of seasonal demand trends and industry conditions within key customer verticalsPrepare and deliver accurate, timely information to prospective customers throughout the sales processMaintain consistent follow-through on all customer commitments and pipeline activityUtilize CRM dashboards and reporting tools to track outbound activity, customer engagement, and progress toward goalsCoordinate with internal teams on agreement execution, equipment availability, and order fulfillmentActively participate in cross-functional business development initiatives as directed by senior leadershipPerform additional tasks and responsibilities as assignedQualificationsBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experienceStrong verbal communication skills; able to engage new contacts and build rapport professionallySelf-directed with the ability to manage a pipeline and prioritize follow-up independentlyOrganized and detail-oriented; able to maintain accurate records across multiple active accounts and campaignsComfortable working with data to inform outreach strategy and measure activity against goalsProficient with MS Office; CRM experience a plusValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordPreferred backgroundPrior experience in outbound sales, B2B account development, or customer-facing rolesBackground in competitive athletics or other high-accountability team environmentsFamiliarity with commercial transportation, equipment leasing, or fleet operations is helpful but not requiredBenefits401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offReferral programRetirement planVision insuranceWork Location: In person
