The Role We are looking for a Senior/Staff-level Engineering Lead to serve as a technical linchpin. You aren't just managing a backlog; you are architecting the future of our product from the ground up. You will influence everything from deep technical architecture to the end-user experience, ensuring our systems are as reliable as they are innovative. What You’ll Do: Lead & Architect: Drive high-level engineering decisions, promote best practices, and architect scalable, maintainable systems for production. Hands-on Development: Remain "in the code," delivering high-quality Python/TypeScript components while mentoring a high-performing team. Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with Product and Design to translate ambitious business requirements into robust technical solutions. Scale the Culture: Facilitate technical discussions, resolve roadblocks, and help us continue to hire and scale a world-class engineering org. What You’ll Bring Experience: 6+ years in software engineering, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership or Staff-level role. Tech Stack: Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, and Python. Production Chops: Proven track record of shipping high-quality code in fast-paced environments (B2B SaaS or Fintech experience is a major plus). Startup Mentality: You possess an "Owner Mentality"—you identify problems and implement solutions without being asked. Deep JS Knowledge: You aren't just a framework user; you understand the DOM, Web APIs, memory management, and the event loop at a fundamental level. Bonus Points: Experience with Machine Learning/AI architecture. Previous experience in high-growth startups or FinTech. Comfort working with modern frontend libraries beyond just React/Vue. Why Join?
