Remote Volunteer Literacy Tutors Needed for Summer 2026!READ 718is looking for volunteer literacy tutors for our Remote After School Program during our Summer Cycle ( July 6 to August 13 ). Volunteers must attend an orientation session and one training session, both on the virtual conferencing app Zoom. They must also undergo a background check. READ 718 is a non‐profit literacy center that provides tutoring and literacy workshops to low‐income students in grades 3‐8. We are looking for dedicated, reliable, caring, positive people who are committed to working with a child virtually twice a week for5 weeks (July 6 to August 13) via Zoom.Tutors will be provided with easy‐to‐follow lesson plans for each session, and will have access to reading specialists and literacy educators for questions and guidance. READ 718 aims to provide students with high‐quality, supplementary instruction to bridge the gap between students who are struggling and their grade‐level peers.
