Assistant Golf Course Superintendent

Large resort in Charlotte Harbor, FL is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent Qualifications: 2 year certificate or equivalent in Turfgrass Science Must have a Florida Greens Industry certification and/or Florida pesticide License Participating knowledge of the game of golf Working knowledge of the construction, establishment, and maintenance practices employed on golf course putting greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers Responsibilities: Works on a diverse range of activities involved in golf course maintenance and construction and will do essential functions of an Equipment Operator. Create ways to further enrich the guest experience by continuously reviewing, implementing and refining procedures to ensure every opportunity to offer extraordinary guest experiences while maintaining a culture of smiles, retention of luxury standards Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Schedule: 8 hour shift Weekends as needed Work Location: In person
