In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions. You'll have the opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture. The candidate must also demonstrate critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.Clearance / Citizenship Requirements:Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance with 1 year of startingU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Required Skills:5+ years software development experienceMinimum 3+ years' experience developing complex applications with JavaProven problem solving and analytical abilitiesDemonstrated experience with Agile and DevSecOps toolsets such as Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, and CucumberDesired Skills:Security+ CertificationExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with Agile development methodologiesExperience with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous DeliveryExperience with AWS Cloud TechnologiesExperience with building automated tests
