The company has raised $10M in investment to date with a team that represents 73% of women in STEM.About The RoleAt Chinova, we are using the power of mushrooms to help improve quality, freshness, and shelf-life which ultimately leads to reducing food waste. The Sales Account Manager is responsible for maximizing sales, profitability, growth and product penetration within an assigned territory. This position will report directly to the CEO and/or the COO.Number Of OpeningsThere are 2 roles open. One Account Manager to cover US West Coast and One Account Manager to cover US Mid West.Position SummaryManage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to presenting and closing the saleEstablish and develop business relationships with new prospective customers to generate new sales for Chinova’s products Research sources to develop prospective customers and determine their potentialCreate and manage a customer value plan to identify share and value opportunitiesEducate clients on the value proposition Chinova can provideEnsure customer concerns are addressed and resolved in a positive and friendly mannerRemain apprised of industry trends and changes to the competitive environmentStay abreast of industry developments and their impact on the organization’s competitiveness and product offeringsUpdated CRM with highlights of each customer meeting, enter new projects, and record samples as they are shipped.
