DescriptionJob description:SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodial Technician to join our team at our apartment properties in Huron and Sandusky, OH. As a key member of our building maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall upkeep of our apartment community. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and a passion for creating a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.ResponsibilitiesPhysically walk property frequently to remove litter, debris, cigarette butts and pet droppings or any other items that do not belong and be mindful of reporting any safety hazardsKeep all areas clean and litter free including but not limited to (management office, laundry, recreation & mail rooms, stairways, dumpster, parking lots and driveways)“Trash Out” includes removing all abandoned furniture or items left after move-outs including trash transfer to dumpstersClean, rake and use blower on shrub areas and walkways as well as shovel mud or snow as neededAssist with various tasks as directed by Property Manager, office staff or Maintenance (clean make ready apartments, storage/shop areas, interior/exterior painting and light maintenance)Other duties as assignedQualificationsExperience in custodial and janitorial roles, ideally at residential or commercial properties.Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices, facilities maintenance, and industrial cleaningExperience in residential painting and porter duties is a plusAbility to perform maintenance tasks, including buffing and general upkeepPhysical RequirementsAble to perform physical/manual labor duties and lift up to 80lbs., snow removal, usage of electric/gas outdoor equipmentFollow all proper procedures in a safe and professional mannerConsistently be a flexible team player, displaying a positive, courteous and professional manner including resident etiquette and employee relationsMust embody RHM’s core values: Teamwork, Will to Win, Loyal and Be a Good Person.Compensation & BenefitsPay Range: $18/hr - $20/hrMedical, dental, vision, and other ancillary plans100% employer-paid life insurance policy and long-term disability coverage401k participation after 1 year, with employer matchingPaid time off: holidays, and PTO to support work-life balanceWhy Build Your Career with RHM Real Estate Group?At RHM Real Estate Group, we are a dynamic and rapidly growing real estate firm that invests, develops, and manages multi-family and commercial properties.
