Our work is built on credibility,operational readiness, and the ability to help sellers move assets with confidence.We are positioned for growth and are looking for the right person to help expand our marketpresence, strengthen relationships, and bring more qualified auction and liquidationopportunities into the company.Position SummaryI.R.A.Y. is seeking a Business Development Manager to help drive growth by developingrelationships with prospective sellers, identifying new opportunities, and helping move qualifiedprospects from initial conversation to signed consignment.This role is ideal for someone who understands consultative selling, is comfortable speakingwith business owners and decision-makers, and can represent the company withprofessionalism and sound judgment. The right candidate will be able to help shape salesprocess, support market outreach, and contribute to the continued growth of the business.This position may be structured as full-time, part-time, contract, or hybrid/remote depending onthe candidate and the company’s needs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage relationships with prospective sellers, business owners, contractors, lenders, and other asset holdersIdentify auction, liquidation, and consignment opportunities across target industriesRun the sales process from initial outreach through qualification, proposal, and closeRepresent I.R.A.Y. clearly and professionally in conversations, meetings, and presentationsWork closely with company leadership to strengthen sales process, positioning, and outreach strategyMaintain follow-up, pipeline activity, and prospect communication in an organized and consistent mannerGather market feedback and help refine messaging based on real-world conversations with prospectsHelp build repeatable lead generation and referral channels over timeQualifications3+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or a related client-facing roleStrong consultative sales ability, including discovery, relationship-building, and closingClear and professional communication skillsGood business judgment and the ability to work with a high level of ownershipComfortable helping build structure and process in a growing environmentAbility to understand and communicate service value to practical, asset-focused buyers and sellersPreferred BackgroundExperience in heavy equipment, auctions, construction, transportation, agriculture, finance, or liquidation-related industriesFamiliarity with asset sales, equipment values, or industrial and commercial marketsExperience working in an entrepreneurial or growth-stage businessExisting industry relationships are a plusCompensation and BenefitsCompetitive base compensation based on experience and role structureCommission and performance-based upsideFlexible role design for the right candidateOpportunity to work closely with leadership and help shape an important growth function within the companyHow to Apply:Email: Nina@iraymn.comInterested candidates should submit a resume and a brief note outlining relevant experienceand interest in the role.
