This role involves providing high-quality nursing care within a fast-paced acute care medical unit caring for patients requiring medical monitoring, isolation precautions, and multidisciplinary treatment coordination.The ideal candidate will have strong Med/Surg nursing experience, EPIC EMR proficiency, and the ability to work efficiently in high-acuity hospital environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive nursing care to adult Medical/Surgical patientsPerform patient assessments and monitor changes in clinical conditionAdminister medications and treatments according to physician ordersMaintain accurate patient documentation within EPIC EMRMonitor and care for patients under various isolation precautions including:COVID-19MonkeypoxOther infectious isolation protocolsCollaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teamsEducate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructionsEnsure compliance with infection prevention and hospital safety protocolsRespond appropriately to urgent patient care situations and clinical escalationsRequired QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) License requiredMinimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience requiredEPIC EMR experience requiredStrong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skillsAbility to work efficiently in fast-paced acute care environmentsExperience with isolation patient care preferredFor more details reach at dparmar@navitashealth.com
