Cloud Enginee - (Remote, Entry-Level)

Role Description This remote, part-time Cloud Engineer (Entry-Level) role at La Magia de RRHH focuses on supporting cloud-based infrastructure and services. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with the deployment, configuration, and monitoring of cloud environments, as well as helping to maintain Linux servers and database instances. The Cloud Engineer will collaborate with more experienced team members to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and implement basic automation scripts. The role also involves documenting configurations and procedures, following security and compliance guidelines, and continuously learning new cloud technologies and best practices.Qualifications Foundational Software Development skills (e.g., scripting in Python, Bash, or similar) and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.Basic understanding of Infrastructure concepts, including networking fundamentals, virtualization, and system administration.Knowledge of Cloud Computing platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and familiarity with core services like compute, storage, and networking.Experience working with Linux operating systems, including command-line usage, package management, and system monitoring.Introductory Databases skills, including basic SQL, database administration tasks, and performance considerations.Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and communicate clearly with distributed teams.Relevant coursework, certifications, or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
