Heat Treat Operator Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in heat treatment processes, is seeking a dedicated Heat Treat Operator to join their team. As a Heat Treat Operator, you will be an essential part of the manufacturing department supporting quality assurance and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Location: East Longmeadow, MAPay Range: $21.00 per hourShift: Monday Friday, 7:00am 3:30pmWhat's the Job?Operate horizontal electric-controlled atmosphere furnaces and vertical heat-treating equipment for continuous hardening and tempering of various sizes.Follow prescribed standard methods, practices, and procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are met.Work from coil identification tags, specifications, charts, tables, and written or verbal instructions to perform tasks accurately.Use micrometers, vernier calipers, overhead electric hoists, and other instruments to monitor and adjust furnace operations.Transport and secure coils and finished products, ensuring proper handling and safety compliance throughout the process.What's Needed?Knowledge of charts, specifications, and micrometers.1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.Ability to use numbers including decimals accurately.Physical ability to lift, push, and pull weights between 5 to 25 pounds.High School Diploma or GED equivalent.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a reputable manufacturing environment.Consistent Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours.Potential to develop skills in heat treatment operations and quality control.Supportive team environment focused on safety and excellence.Clear pathways for career growth within the organization.If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
