Material Handler

Our client is currently seeking or in need of a reliable *Material Handler *to support day-to-day dock operations in Sumner, WA. This role keeps freight moving smoothly through the facility by unloading, organizing, and securing outbound loads while maintaining a tidy work area. You’ll work closely with clamp operators and drivers to stage materials correctly and keep trailers balanced and safe. *The Day-to-Day:* * Unload inbound freight by hand with care and efficiency. * Sort materials and stack them for clamp operators to load into outbound trailers. * Wrap stacked freight securely and up-stack inside trailers when needed. * Place load bars and dunnage bags to stabilize outbound shipments. * Keep the dock and surrounding area orderly and free of debris. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or GED. * Ability to lift up to 45 lbs safely and repeatedly. * Capable of bending, stooping, kneeling, and performing sustained manual labor. * Solid basic math skills and strong attention to detail. *Pay Rate:* * $19.50 /hr *Schedule:* * 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM * Hours can fluctuate depending on need, day to day Pay: From $19.50 per hour Benefits: * Health insurance Work Location: In person
