Job responsibilities include reading, understanding, and following assembly prints, experience with electro/mechanical components, and the use of assembly hand tools such as crimp tools, drills, torque wrenches, rivet and insertion tools, etc. as required. The technician builds finished assemblies within defined time standards and with a high level of quality, troubleshoots assemblies, and makes appropriate adjustments/corrections to hardware. They use a variety of precision measuring and gauging instruments, maintain a record of the assembly process, progress, and problems, and wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines. The technician performs other jobs as needed for production and as assigned by the team lead, has good communication skills, and is a team member who can work with a diverse staff. They assist other technicians for PM and projects, use a computerized tickets system and PM, and have high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, and computer skills in Microsoft Office products and email. They are knowledgeable of integration processes, concepts, alternatives, and best practices, able to read engineering schematics and drawings, a quick learner with the ability to follow direction, problem solve, multitask, and adapt to changes to promote efficiency and productivity, and must be flexible and available to work overtime as required by EF needs. Standing, bending, reaching, and handling bulky parts with the ability to frequently lift to 35 pounds is also required.
