General Aviation Aircraft Mechanic

Three Rivers Aero is a growing part 61 flight school with a fleet of 6 aircraft seeking a full-time Aircraft Mechanic. We are looking for someone motivated and passionate about aviation to join our team. The applicant must be knowledgeable about single-engine aircraft and how to maintain a small fleet. Position: General AviationAircraft Mechanic Reports to: Director of Maintenance Responsibilities: Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that aircraft are ready for operation. Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective aircraft maintenance. Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. Examine and inspect aircraft components. Read and interpret pilots' descriptions of problems to diagnose causes. Accompany aircraft on flights to make in-flight adjustments and corrections. Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds above your head while being seated, standing, or while working on your feet. General Aviation experience REQUIRED Experience with Piper and Cessna Aircraft is preferred. A&P Preferred Salary will be determined based on applicant's qualifications.
