Upper Extremity Sales Representative | Metro DetroitIf you have 3+ years of orthopedic medical device experience and want a role that keeps you close to surgeons, consistently in the OR, and fully immersed in upper extremity work, this is an opportunity worth a closer look.This is a dedicated Upper Extremity sales role supporting procedures across a high‑volume, high‑expectation territory. You’ll be working with established surgeons and hospital teams, managing cases end‑to‑end, and owning execution in the OR. This is not an associate or observer role—this position requires confidence, preparation, and follow‑through.What You’ll Do (and Why It Matters)Provide in‑case upper extremity coverage across multiple hospitals and surgeons, supporting UE procedures with confidence, preparation, and composureBuild and deepen surgeon and OR staff relationships by being dependable, knowledgeable, and responsive—especially in high‑pressure casesManage surgical case logistics in the Surgical Management System (SMS), ensuring accuracy, readiness, and execution—because details matter in the OROversee implants, instrumentation, and inventory, maintaining clean, compliant sets so teams always have what they needPartner closely with Operations on a weekly basis to stay aligned on inventory, coverage, and case readinessParticipate in product education, skill labs, and sales meetings, continuing to build clinical fluency and commercial strengthWho This Role Is ForThis role is designed for someone with experience in orthopedic medical sales, ideally with exposure to upper extremity.You’re someone who:Is already comfortable in the OR and understands surgeon expectationsBrings sales discipline and clinical curiosity to every interactionTakes ownership of their territory and understands that preparation and follow‑through separate good reps from great onesThrives in a fast‑moving, hands‑on environment and prefers being in the middle of the action—not on the sidelinesWhat Is RequiredThis role is best suited for someone who meets the following criteria:Bachelor’s degree requiredMinimum of 3 years of orthopedic medical device experienceUpper extremity experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of surgeon expectations and hospital dynamicsProven reliability, attention to detail, and follow‑throughAbility to manage multiple hospitals, surgeons, and case schedules effectivelyIf you want a role that challenges you, develops you, and puts you where credibility is earned—not given—this is it.Base Salary: $80,000–$120,000 (commensurate with experience)
