Shift: 4 - 10's Monday through Thursday 7-5:30 Possibility for hybrid schedule Reliability Engineer Description: Job Description This is a contract position that is discipline-specific (Mechanical, Instrument, and Electrical) and has a long-term and strategic focus. It is responsible to drive reliability performance using the most appropriate and effective tools and techniques. This position provides technical support to Production and Maintenance personnel and leads or participates in Root Cause Failure Analyses and monitors KPI data for early identification and resolution of reliability issues. Responsibilities: Apply appropriate reliability tools to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve AE (i.e., Bad Actor Program, FMEA, RBI, RBM, RCM, Reliability Roadmap, etc. Ensures development and sustenance of Critical Equipment list Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for proactive identification and resolution of reliability issues Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFAs) and corrective actions for complex and/or repetitive problems. Lead the Bad Actor Program and create action plans for improving reliability Provide technical support to maintenance Supervisor, specialist, and crafts on difficult equipment repair problems Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting support and recommendations to operating units on equipment reliability including emergency work reviews Participate in the Bad Actor Program and create action plans for improving reliability Assist in the training and development of operation and maintenance resources Establish, monitor, and optimize Preventative Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance Plans Develop disciplined and systematic equipment Maintenance strategy based upon business needs Identify and implement best practices across site Interpret codes, regulations, and standards Evaluate new technologies Evaluate alternatives for equipment repair seeking cost and time advantages Support capital projects by supplying engineering expertise in the specification, design, and construction of capital projects in accordance with plant design requirements as well as regulatory and BASF standards. This includes (but not limited to): Equipment selection/layout Scope development Spare parts determination Support with technical Bid analysis and bonus/malus reviews Support installation, commissioning, and startup activities Job Type: Contract Salary: $65.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift Day shift Ability to commute/relocate: Bishop, TX 78343: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
