Security Officer

Additionally, your relevant skills in CCTV and loss prevention will assist in monitoring and preventing security threats. Responsibilities - Ensure the security and safety of the premises by monitoring and patrolling designated areas. - Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance to handle any security issues. - Utilize conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations and maintain order. - Provide first aid assistance when needed and coordinate with emergency services if required. - Conduct surveillance activities and report any suspicious behavior or incidents. - Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns effectively. Qualifications - Security experience - Conflict management skills - First aid certification - Law enforcement background - Surveillance techniques knowledge - CPR certification - Military experience is a plus - Familiarity with CCTV systems - Understanding of loss prevention strategies Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift Night shift Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Security: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) Work Location: In person
