Senior Accountant ConsultantLocation: Creve Coeur, MO (100% Onsite)Duration: Short-term project (estimated 45–60 days)Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible start time between 7:00 AM–8:30 AMCompensation: $35–40/hourStart: ASAPOverviewWe are seeking a Senior Accountant Consultant to support a fast-paced manufacturing organization undergoing an acquisition and internal accounting transformation. This consultant will work closely with the Controller to review, clean up, and implement accounting records, including historical transactions, within a new ERP environment.This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can quickly step in, work independently, and add value during a critical transition period.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and clean up historical accounting entries and general ledger activityAssist with acquisition-related accounting close activitiesSupport month-end and project-based closes within a manufacturing environmentPerform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variancesHelp migrate and implement accounting data into a new proprietary ERP systemPartner closely with the Controller and operations leadership to ensure accurate financial recordsEnsure books and ledgers are complete, accurate, and compliant during the transitionDocument processes and provide recommendations where appropriateRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required3+ years of manufacturing accounting experienceStrong understanding of month-end close processes and account reconciliationsExperience working through ERP implementations or system transitionsAbility to work onsite and ramp up quickly in a short-term engagementStrong attention to detail with solid analytical skillsPreferred / Nice to HaveSAP experience strongly preferred (SAP Business One is a plus)Experience supporting acquisition-related accounting or post-acquisition cleanupsPrior consulting or project-based accounting experienceAdditional Details100% onsite role with flexible daily start timesInterview process can include virtual and/or onsite meetingsImmediate need due to upcoming acquisition close and system implementationBenefits (if applicable during engagement)Benefit offerings may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401(k) plan.
