Over 100 different events, featuring a mix of classical, rock, pop, jazz, R&B, indie, and country performers, make up a typical summer season across our open-air and indoor stages, including the annual residency of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.Position SummaryAs a Sales Associate for Ravinia's Chair Rental, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the daily sales and customer relations of the on-site chair rental operation. You will have countless opportunities to engage with patrons and help create a welcoming Ravinia experience.Key ResponsibilitiesRing up sales for chair rentalsStock, clean, and organize chairs and tables for concert rentalCarry and set up chairs and tables for parties, groups, and individualsCollect un-returned chairs and tablesClean, organize and restock rental chair storage and sale areas dailySell light up novelties on the lawn on busy nightsQualificationsHigh School or equivalent work experienceExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to multi-task and work in teams or independentlyAbility to lift boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.Available to work evening hours on weekdays and weekendsAll Ravinia employees must be at least 16 years of ageWork EnvironmentThe Ravinia season runs from June to September. Priority in hiring will be given to applicants who are available to work the entire season.Preparation and hiring begin May 12th, part-time & full-time hours are availableThis position has prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.It requires mostly afternoon/evening hours.
